today we made it to broome, the other side, we went camel riding on riding on cable beach, which was awesomely awesome, especially since I got to ride on the tallest one, philemon (I think it was philemon), that was really cool, we also went to the marketswhere mum bought a hat and we got a flavoured cup of ice, anyways, then we went to a pearl where we figured out that a big pearl diving costume could weigh arond one hundred and thirty kilograms, there were also some ships we could look at and one of the kids got a free pearl, apparantly the gold pearls are rarest and no pearl can be microscopically exactly round unless it's a fake, and nine hundred japanese died when they went pearl diving. also my birthday is in two days and I can't wait, and apparently, ryan o'keefe is still going to play for the swans for another five years! woohoo!

Anyways, we are leaving Kakadu

We are leaving Kakadu today and we just found a place called yellow
waters and we are just having a look around, abraham and I are stuck
in the car because we don't have hats, and hannah is just here with us
because she doesn't want to do a one and a half kilometre walk that
she's already done.

Anyways, abraham and I both have done the walk as well but mum and dad
just noticed that we don't have hats so we can't do it again, not that
we really care about doing a walk twice either.

Anyways we're on our way back to katherine and I'm finding it hard to
think what to say and so I'll just tell you how hard it is to think
what to say when you've done nothing, actually, that's a boring
subject, I think I'll talk about something else, but what should I
talk about if I can't think of anything to talk about?

Anyways, mum and dad have just come back and are talking about birds
that they saw on the walk, but I won't talk about birds because I'm
not really interested in them, so I'll talk about my new soft toy
Nadroj, Nadroj is a soft toy owl that I bought and I called it Nadroj
because nadroj is Jordan backwards, and it reminds me of Jordan for
some strange unknown reason.

Anyways, sometimes we have soft toy wars and it is better if you have
more soft toys and so I got some more.

We just took two branches of some trees and they are both hollow so we
are going to make didgeridoos out of them when we get to katherine ,
so far, we've had a pretty decent day.

today we woke up at 6am because we had to go to a caravan repairing place so we didn't have time to have breakfast so we packed up quickly and went to macdonalds while dad dealt with the obnoxious person that owns the caravan repair place (good on ya' dad), anyways, we bought him some hotcakes for him (in english they're called pancakes)and drove back to the caravan park because mum wanted to boil water and hannah wanted to wash her hair and then we went to an army place, which was cool except they persuaded me not to like japanese, anyways, my sister doesn't like getting up at six in the morning and then doing an hour of working before breakfast for some strange reason that is unknown to the world, anyways, our fridge is in melbourne, so we are in a bit of a sticky wicky situationy ( I just tried to think of something that rhimed with sticky) so we can't get much food, which is a problem because we need to go shopping twice a day which I don't really fancy, anyways, dad has just had a hard time since he figured out that we have to wait until we get to broome before we get the fridge back so that means well have to do a lot of shopping! anyways, we've had a fairly nice time in darwin and
there's barely anything more that you can criticise about it anyways, I don't have any more time to write because the computer battery is running out so, talk to ya next time!

Hawthorn beat Geelong, Hawthorn beat geelong wahhoooooo!!!! we are at darwin now but at the alice springs caravan parkit had a TV room so I got to watch the match and it was awesomely awesome, Hawks won by 30 points!!! I only got to blog this because at darwin it has internet, and also, I saved up and bought a footy and not just any old footy, oh no, it's a special footy, it's mmmmmmmyyyyyy footy, but that's not the reason why its a special footy, the reason its a special footy is because it's green yep, you got it, a green sherrin and it's awesomely awesome!! and grandparents, I used the money that you gave me to buy it wahhooo!

Look who's captain on Katherine Gorge

Today we went to Katherine and we went on a katherine gorge tour and I got to drive the boat! basically there were 3 little gorges which altogether were called Katherine gorge and they were pretty cool and we also got to go swimming when the trip was finished, also the guy played didgeridoo for us and he was really good! and he said that in the second gorge there was a rainbow serpent called Bolong in the deepest part and if anyone tried to swim where he lived they would swallow him whole and spit him out in the deepest part of the waters and made them swim back themselves, all in all it was a pretty cool trip especially when I got to drive the boat

today we went to ayeres rock and it was way bigger then I thought it was going to be because that picture was taken from thirty kilometres away and it is said that people have been able to see it from 150 kilometres away (I'm not sure if it's true or not but it was pretty cool and we got to go right up to it and just kept getting bigger and bigger when we got closer and the absolute best picture of uluru is actually takan from ten kilometres away (strange I know ) but it was awesomely awesome anyways, Ayeres rock was cool but we didn't get to climb it!

Hair

today had lots to do with hair, My mum got her hair cut quite short, for school people about Lily Millars size, for church people it was about alex's size, also mum cut my hair quite short as well, for people at school about Blake's size and for people at church about Andre's size, about the same with abraham hannah has decided she's not going to have a haircut but she's got buckley's, mum says. Everyone is tired since we are now 20k's from ayeres rock (Uluru). anyways, tommorow I am hoping to buy a footy at the markets but I haven't told my parents yet, they'll figure out once I have published this post (did you know I had been practising with a coke bottle because I don't have a footy?), anyways I'm happy that the Hawks won instead of the Cats! (don't tell Gary Ablett that I said that),if you disagree with me then write a comment but I think the Hawks deserve it heaps more than the Cats (don't tell Tom Harley that I said that anyways, today was awesomely awesome!!!

Northern Territory

Today we got to the northern Territory and this is what greeted us, a sign saying welcome to the Nature territory, strange?, and in tiny letters it said Northern Territory of Australia, Anyways, we went into the Northern territory and the very next sign said 130 meaning we could go at 130 kilometres per hour, strange?, and after that we went 600 kilometres more to find another sign saying welcome to the empty creek! and underneath in little letters it said Tennant creek australia double strange? I didn't notice that for over a thousand kilometres there was nothing but dirt and an empty Highway triple strange? also, just yesterday we got to adelaide river which is even more strange since we're about 3000 kilometres from adelaide there was a sign saying wangi caravan park and in little letters saying close to everything strangest? especially since the only thing near it was a cemetery for people who have died in the war. anyway, you just can't trust people from the northern territory especially when they're boasting about this really good caravan park but it's closed till 2009! anyways, simple minds,simple pleasures!

Australia Zoo

Today we went to Australia zoo, it was great fun because we got to see
these really cool tigers and they were swimming and playing with a
ball in the water and they even had a bit of a fight, there was also a
cool otter show where the otters got fed by cray fish and the tour
guide told us a story where the otters climbed up a bamboo rod out of
the cage and ate all of the other animals' food, and it was a true
story! also, we went tot the crocaseum where first there were these
snakes and they had a seven metre long snake which was very long!!!
Very long indeed!!! uh huh very very long!!! there was also a bird
show where it was this lady's first time doing it and so she stuffed
up!!! uh huh!! she completely lost the plot!! and she lost her birds
in the process!!! and then there was the crocodile park dun don duhhh!!!
and the crocodile was so close to biting the persons' hand off, dun
don duuuh!!

Today we went to great keppel island, we had a great time!

first of all, we woke up at four am by the kookaburras because someone
must've got pushed in the pool by his two year old daughter and all
the kookaburras would be laughing at them!
anyways, after we got up at about nine am we quickly left to go to
Great Keppel island which was a massive island but almost completely
deserted, anyways, we got there at about ten and then we had to wait
heaps long because dad had forgotten to bring the money so dad and mum
went back to the caravan park while we waited about half an hour until
they came back! and we just made it to the ferry before it left! and
we got togo in the captains cabin and Abraham got to have a photo
taken with him in the captains seat! also Adrian (who was someone that
worked there) put Abraham in a life jacket and then tied the life
jacket to a pole and so abraham was stuck! after we got to the island
we went to the gift shop and I got a mini-sand-foot with great keppel
island on one side, and on the other side it said great barrier reef
(because technically we were at the very bottom of the great barrier
reef).
We also went goggling and I saw this really cool fish that that had
orange stripes, a blue tail and a black body but Abraham didn't find
anything.
We also went on a coral tour where we were in a glass bottom boat and
we could see all these fish! he also had some coral to show us such as
the STAG CORAL which just happened to be a coral that represented a
stag's antlers it also happened to be a hard coral but it, if you
dropped it it would smash like glass rather then surviving the blow
like iron,
he also showed us another coral called BRAIN CORAL which, of course
was a coral that looked like a brain and it also was a hard coral but
it was more like iron than glass!
he also showed us some shells such as the spider shell which had eight
sharp bits ( why does everything have to have a name that represents
what they look like?) and he got us to sing the spider pig song but
instead of pig we had to sing shell! he also showed us one that he
didn't know the name of (which is quite strange). and then we saw this
whole bunch of fish that looked like sharks and he had a bucket of
crayfish and he threw them at the fish and they all went after it and
it looked really cool. there was also another fish that he fed that,
instead of biting his food used his jaw and sucked it inside because
he didn't have any teeth, and apparently one of the workers has lost
heaps of gloves because the fish has sucked it feally quickly in. so
all in all we had a great day!!!

wet 'n' wild

Today we went to wet 'n' wild, it was great fun, we went on really cool rides such as MACH 5 which had a ride where up to three people on it and you go down this slope, there was also one where you go down a really steep hill and screamed your lungs out, there was also a ride called the it was also the BLACK HOLE which was good fun, it was pitch black inside the hole and so it was a bit like the Taipan at Jamberoo! There was also Ultimately ultimate ride called the TORNADO where you went right through a water slide at a really fast pace and then we went up and down the walls right through a tube and it was great fun! We also went on the MAMMOTH FALLS which was a family ride where you were on a round boat and went through a tunnel and I wobbled the boat and everyone was really scared! We also went to BUCCANEER BAY where there was this giant head and it got filled up and then it tipped and I got completely drenched. We were also going to go on the surf rider but we couldn't because something was wrong with it.

we also went to a new church and there was this bald mini-dude who was really cool, there was also this bully that stole this really long stick of the mini-dude and I wrestled with him and got it back (I fully clobbered him), dad is now telling me that the mini-dude actually had glandulla fever or something like that. We also had dinner with the minister of the church, we had five pizzas! He had six kids and so we had great fun with them. So, all in all, we had an awesome day!!!!!!!

Day away with Dad (old entry from August 22, 2008)

Dad and I went to a caravan park yesterday, dad is just making dinner after the long day we've had, today we went to the shopping centre and bought dad a video camera, I also played my first game of snooker, I was bad but it was still good fun, I won as well because dad hit the black ball into the hole when it wasn't the last one left, also we played air hockey, I won that as well 7-6, dad said I won because he was filming at the same time as playing but it was only one shot, I would've won anyway. Also, we had pizza, from dominoes we had Hawaiian and meatlovers, they were good, also we watched the ant bully, it was great, it was about this guy that was really mean to ants and they minimised him into the size of an antand he had to learn how to be an ant before they made him his normal size again, I think tonight we're going to watch Spiderman3, but you never know.

We borrowed a jeep to drive around Australia as well it's great!

Just then we went to the beach and we kicked the ball around, we also listened to a talk but I don't know who spoke it, it was about praying like Jesus and he said that he saw this muslim guy with this really really big hat who was basically bouncing up and down repeating his prayer again and again. The drive here was really long, we stopped by Macquarie uni because dad had to give a talk.. Dad was good, I met a guy there we threw a ball around for a while, it was good fun, soon I will be going to go on a trip with my family around Australia, I can't wait, also Dad videotaped me playing my sax, I was playing shout, but it's better when I play with the band, we also had muffins they were nice, and we spent a lot of time making a video of the trip, tomorrow we are going home out how to to our family, dad is cooking mince and rice at the moment, smelling good, today we figured out how to break into our camper trailer, he got locked out and so he ripped the door off and put it back on afterwards, also, when we went to the shopping centre, we were surprised to find out that nearly half of the shopping centre had no roof and it was raining, not a good combination.

Sea world

Today, Abraham and I unknowingly woke up at six in the morning and so we decided to play cards, we also woke up everyone else in the camper trailer by doing so, we didn't care, but mum and dad did!!! After a very slow start in the morning we finally made it to sea world! first, we caught a gondola to the other side of the park, then, we went to the water park where we sprayed innocent people and went down this awesomely awesome water slide where we were in a round boat and went straight down a hill, it was awesomely awesome!!

We also went to a penguin place where there was a penguin who was as ugly as a wugly bugly! Then we went to shark bay dun don daaaaaaan!!! Shark bay had sharks the size of cockroaches and there were sting rays the size of ants and there were schools of fish the size of schools of fish!!

We also went to the very annoyapointing (annoying and disapointing) polar bear sanctuary which was very annoyapointing because we couldn't find any bears, either they were international hiding champions' or they had ran away!! Then we went on awesomely awesome Viking ride!!!which was a ride where you went on a steepity steep steep steep hill and you go really fastity wastity, we also went on the bermuda triangle where there were crazaliens( crazy aliens ) that were trying to destroy the whole world and we went down really fastity wastity! we also watched this four dimensional movity wovity which was pretty coolity woolity, we also went on a pirate ride which was awesomely awesome, then, we went on a rollercoaster called the corkscrew, it was awesomely awesome, even though Hannah felt sick at the end, so, I think all in all we had a great daisy!!

Pool fever!

Today we went to a pool this person joined in, she, as well as us, had lately been to movieworld! And so, for a while, we talked to her about the SUPERMAN and the LETHAL WEAPON! which were the two scariest rides in the park, there were also a little boy there that pushed Abraham in the pool three times and Abraham got really annoyed and so he stopped, we also had this really nice lunch, sausages and salad to be precise, (doesn't sound like the best lunch, but it was still good) I also beat dad at chess, he's still a good game, but I can beat him much more now, I also raced someone in the pool and beat them by exactly one second, also, the fridge broke down and all our food isn't cold! We also went to a playground and I set a new family benchmark on how high you can swing on a swing! (well I didn't really but if we were having a competition I would've because I went so high ) when I swung on the swing once I thought I was going to accidentally fly off and get smashed by the fence, it kind of felt like the SPOOKY-COASTER at movieworld!

I ddn't get to give you the video of yesterday yet because we hadn't edited it until today!
We also put the stabiliser leg back on so we're allowed to have tickle fights again WWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

twin saxophones

My mum wasn't thinking she would get a saxophone, Dad, Hannah and Abraham didn't even know she had entered to get a saxophone, but I, was raring to go and prepared to get two saxophones, which is exactly what happened. Mum had bidded on ebay to saxophones that were both selling at eleven o'clock the next day, every other saxophone she bidded for was beaten in the first two seconds, but, after one whole day she was still the leading bidder and she was very, very surprised! and we got both! We got both! And mum didn't tell me until lately. and I am very excited but mum just got out of buying one of the saxes and so we have a awesomely awesome saxophone! mum just needs to listen to this and then all her troubles will be cured!

Today we have just reached Queensland and are very excited, but we were also quite sad because we had to leave this really cool four and a half star caravan park, so we had to make the most of it. So we smash! it was great fun! We went in the pool at about eleven of the clock, dad and I both bombed in the pool and splashed each other and then he got me to stand on his shoulders and fall off, it was great fun, then when Abraham got in dad was trying to drag him over to the bars (which in our game were called ''the spider'')and I was the security guard and I kept wrestling dad until he let go of Abraham. We also played mini-golf, I was good! In the first hole every body got into the hole in ten hits, but it only took me two hits, we were also going to go to the games room and I would play mum in a game of snooker, at the moment we are at the gold coast, I think tommorow we are going to dream world, I can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!

We're all going on a spring holiday

We have just set out on our three month trip around Australia, I am just sitting in the camper trailer writing this blog having a great time, at the moment we are in a place called Cessnock , it's a great place, before I was playing frizbee with Hannah, she's a good catch as well, also, one of the stabiliser legs is broken so it's a bit wobbly so only me and Abraham can sleep on the big bed until it gets fixed , before, Abraham jumped on the bed and nearly caused the whole camper trailer to fall over, also , our car that we've got needed more petrol in it every hundred kilometres, which is heaps but we put it down a few notches. Also everyone complained about how much words they had to blog, Abraham had two hundred and fifty a day, I had five hundred a day, Hannah had eight hundred a day, Mum had one thousand a day and Dad had two thousand a day, and one of dad's friends' told us to say ''this is the first six words, this is the first pair of eight words,etc etc. Also soon will be our fifth time setting up the campervan and putting down the campervan.
We also played some soccer with Hannah, she still needs to learn a bit though, also, I am looking forward to our first ever family game of cricket, it's going to be a smash! I will also be collecting things to go on my keys for every place we go, after the trip my keys are going to be as heavy as a boulder. We went to grandparents' as well because we needed to give them an extra bag of washing before we go, grandfather gave me the swans' last match of the season record and Hannah and Abraham have been quizzing me on who's number is who's. Also dad got this really short haircut and he looks awesome but Abraham doesn't think so.
also, we had dominoes for dinner last night IN THE CAR! I didn't mind but I wanted a bit more than just three pieces. And in the middle of the night I had a bleeding nose and dad had to get all of these tissues from the toilet for me and eventually the bleeding stopped. I also prepared breakfast this morning, I didn't make it but I set everything up but there wasn't enough spoons and so we had to share two spoons between the five of us, VERY VERY VERY SAD, for us!

Tamworth and Mum

We have just arrived in Tamworth, mum joined us yesterday and it is her birthday today, she is enjoying the day (I hope) and having a great time. it is raining and I have just been reported that at nine am it was five degrees celsius, anyway, it is nice to have mum back, she is a happy chappy ( I hope) we are enjoying the holidays in our camper trailer, it is cozy and a lot better than the tent, we would not have lived in five degrees if it wasn't for the camper trailer, The water in tamworth is disgusting, it is revolting and I had to have a tablet with the water-double revolting, I can't wait until we can have normal water again, but seriously, when Dad worked here he had cordial with his toothpaste so that he didn't have to use water-triple revolting.

holiday time

We have just embarked on our mini trip to Newcastle, it is great fun, I love jumping and snorting on Hannahs bed and she tickles me and I fall off and Abraham pushes Hannah off. I am forward to going outside playing cricket and other outdoor sports, I can't wait till we go on the real trip, it is a great experience to be going to Newcastle and having fun there and is a great place, we met a nice lady called Micheala, she offered us some tea for dad and I and hot chocolate for the others, we are able to put up the camper trailer up fairly quickly now. We are looking forward to when we can take it out of the carport without going to too much trouble, it is great to get out in the wilderness and a great experience for me and my siblings.

my second debate is that chooks are better than cats

Good afternoon parents, carers, teachers,

And, of course, our fellow Students, as you know, we are debating whether Chooks are better than cats. Being on the affirmative team, we believe that this Topic is true and should be taken into account.

We have looked on the positives and negatives of cats and chooks, we took it into account and figured that chooks are much preferred than cats. Being the second speaker, I will be talking to you about My grandparents’ cat. it moults, rips up their carpet, climbs on their flyscreen and doesn’t thank you for feeding and caring for it.

I will also be talking to you about chooks and how you only have to feed it weekly, easy to get someone to feed it while you’re on holidays, don’t get as attached to a chook as you would a cat so when it dies you won’t feel as sad and how they make a fairly good house alarm if you have an intruder or a robber in the garden.

You can’t say much good things about cats, well you could say that cats are better because they’re fluffier and cuddlier and better to play with that’s it. You know, you could say a lot of things that are good for cats but you can’t say why. You need to tell people why, otherwise it doesn’t make sense, there are many things saying that cats are bad and explaining why for example.

My grandparents have a black cat at their house. Instead of meowing and sitting next to a door when it wants to go outside, It uses actions rather than noises, so when the cat wants to go outside, it goes right along the hallway and tears up the carpet for as long as it has to Until it gets let out,

When it wants to come in, it climbs up the flyscreen tearing holes in it. It also leaves its fur on the carpet and furniture when it moults, it will moult all around the house and there will be cat hair everywhere. It is much less trouble to feed chooks because you only need to fill up their food and water containers once a week, whereas you have to feed cats twice a day, and wash out their food bowl.

Chooks are a lot less fussy when it comes to dinnertime, they are happy to eat your leftover fruit and vegetable peelings and other food scraps. With cats, of course, you have to buy separate food because they would find our food revolting and would never eat it.

It is easy to find someone that would be looking forward to looking after the chooks while you’re away because they would get the eggs, everyone is tempted by free food,

but, if you want someone to feed a cat while you’re away, they wouldn’t say yes as much because there’s nothing to look forward to.

When cats go to the toilet it will mean that you can’t grow a plant there ever again.

It will cause trees and plants to die and never come back which could become crucial to our living existence. We need to be careful with our land and don’t want it to become any worse, if we keep polluting the earth then eventually there will be an extinction of all human existence.

Also chooks are far cheaper than cats, all you have to do is feed them with your old food scraps. Whereas Cats need food of their own, getting nueted, worming, vaccination and paying for reparing the things that they break.

Cats Never greet you when you come back from shopping, they will never thank you for buying their favourite cat food for them, they don’t thank you for anything you would do for them and can’t be bothered to notice you.

I believe, my team believes, hopefully you will believe, that Chooks are officially better than cats.
