Lost...

I only just found my way back to the caravan. This place is huge!!! I went to the shop at the front of the caravan, and then -when it got dark- started to walk back. I walked for ages before I realised I was lost. I looked for a toilet block. After walking past several, I now know that this pace has about 6 of them. After I finally found something I'd seen before, the only pool.

"Yes" I thought "Here is the way home, this time I won't get lost!" It is about a 2 block walk to our caravan, and I managed to get completly lost and 3 times went in the wrong direction -lucky there was only 4 directions to go in. My defence "Well, it was dark"

FIP & Uluru

Today we drove to Uluru. Because Dad is not feeling well, we didn't really get our of the car.

Uluru was like a big animal, resting. It has chunks out of it, and every time we went around it was different. It seemed to have to faces, and 4 limbs on each side.

There were 2 souvenir shops, one of them the cheapest thing was $20, which exceeded my price range. The shop had a smaller range of things, but they were cheaper.

Fluffle has changed his name to FIP, because since he got his hair cut he is no longer "fluffle-y" and is now Fluffle In Person, all he has to say about this is "If I was Vluffle, I would be VIP

Sol is testing out his new saxaphone for the first time, which is making me feel guilty, because I haven't actually got my clarinet out of its case since the day before yesterday. The sax is very loud, especially since I am sitting next to it...

Push off

Today I learnt a knew game. Its like bull rush, (but called push)
except to get someone out, you pulled them off the jumping pillow and
onto the sand. It is something I'd like to play with/against my
class....not that I am expecting to, though, but it would be fun.

Abraham has a new dance.....

"Dance like a chicken, Swing like a chicken, jump like a chicken and
Fly like a chicken..."

You do the appropriatte actions, with the occasional bend forward, and
he squeals and laughs.

Note: best done either in dark or pool, was more effective.

Stop Breathing!

We're leaving Alice Springs....or we're meant to be. We were going to leave half an hour ago, but the sink kind of broke, and we decided we have more chance here of getting it fixed than we have at Ululru.

Last night I had to share the bed with Sol, and it was the worst. I'm not sure whether Sol hates sharing with me as well...But I definetly didn't enjoy sleeping next to him. Mainly because at 3 in the morning he woke me up...by breathing loudly...kind of like snoring. After failing to get back to sleep, I tried to muffle him with his pants -but he shook them off- then my sleeping bag -but I got to cold- finally, as a last resort, I held his nose for about 30 seconds...which stopped him...but as soon as I let go, he started again, louder.

The worst part is that I couldn't really shake him awake and say "Stop Breathing, its annoying me!!"

I can't believe i forgot to tell you

Yesterday my Dad cut my Mums hair so that its really short. Ummm, how to describe....

6NA it's shorter than Darcys, church people it's about the same as Alexs. Everyone else I can't describe it properly.

Today Mum shaved (!!!!!) both my brothers heads!!!!!! This isn't so shockinnin itself, but people are hinting that Im next!!! Plz tell my parents it's a really bad idea. I hate short hair, no offence to the whole wide world with short hair, I really just dislike it on me.

I went to 4 pools today...

...And kind wish I hadn't, because now I'm burnt, wet, heaps of my clothes are wet -wore wet swimmers under them- and I have a bleeding toe.

Today my brothers, dad and I went to a 'waterhole'. It was a green, big lake, about 50m across -took me ages to work out how to spell that, like 4 attempts- and 40m wide. When we first saw it we thought it was a mirage. After a hasty lunch, and a -"Fluffle stop reminding me that I'll get cramp or I'll push you in"- 'talk' we were ready to see what swimming in a 'waterhole' was really like.

Sol jumped straight in, and tried to swim across and only got 3/4 there, instead of attempting to swim back he climbed around the rocks on the banks. I got in slightly slower then Sol, but made it all the way to the other side and succeeded in stranding myself. While I was trying to work out how to get back without actually touching the rocks or putting my head back under water -it was disgusting..- Fluffle was having an argument with some people about his climbing ability, and he won.

Realising the only way back was to swim, head under -the water in the middle was about 3m deep- and just hope I didn't touch a rock, I procrastinated leaving the shore. When I finally did, I was glad that I swam, and when I got back, I was amazed at how if you walked 2 steps into the beach (ythingamabob) the water would be over my head.

Just before we left Sol convinced me that if he jumped of the cliff into the water than so would I. We both jumped, he went first, when I jumped I banged my toe on a rock, and it bled...have not told anyone except Sol, and only him because he sat next to me in the car....was not glad I jumped...half my toenail has died.

The Hawks beat the Cats. And I am sad, because I went for the Cats...mainly because my brothers went for the Hawks, they won't stop teasing me, especially since I forgot which team I was going for.

Off road, consciences & the Devils Marbles

Yesterday we finally drove off road - onto the foot path.

Today we drove off road again, and this time, we didn't get to  a foot path. Instead, we got to The Devils Marbles. They -

Hannah has fallen asleep and I am her conscience speaking, so far I have corrected all her spelling, and put shoes back on her feet...Now I am rescuing her post from unprofitable blather about footpaths and off roads. If you are reading this it meant my ploy is successful and I have beaten Hannah and managed to publish something interesting, compared to what she normally writes.

So, The Devils Marbles, as Hannah's conscience, I know she was going to tell you about the heat, the other people there, what her brothers did, and other such like. The Devils Marbles are spread over a vast ground, they are big boulders formed of granite, with silvery dirt as well as red. It was a hard steep climb, and Hannah contested Sol -oh how I hate nicknames-  and tried to keep up with him as he climbed. She couldn't, not for lack of trying..

.I...Ahhhhhhhh! No, you will never vanquish me, I am your conscience!!!!!

- Sorry about that, my conscience has been very disloyal, although probably believes -he? she? it??- is doing you a favor. Anyway, My brothers were the main reason that I climbed up the Devils Marbles, because I didn't want them to write that they beat me. Sol was really excited because there was a high school visiting, and they were playing footy. I really enjoyed climbing the marbles, and am glad I did. Once again we got a picture of Dad playing with his iPhone. And he lectures me about wasting the trip away reading!!

p.s. Sorry all readers with sense, I was really bored when I wrote that, and got sick of doing a normal post...if you can count my other posts as normal.

Witchiti grubs

This is me eating witchiti grubs, everyone says they taste like eggs.
I didn't like them. Funnily enough, I don't like eggs either.

Bush Tucker man - Tennant Creek

Comftabubble

We are at a camp fire. Fluffle has my jumper, and we are listening to
Jimmy - a bush tucker man- He is telling us that wootchiti grub
tastes like lollies - maybe sugar free ones??- I think it's meant to
taste like egg yolk. If Fluffle is to be believed. He is also telling
us of the tales of weet bix. Comftabubble is my new fav word. Bush
tucker is not as nice as people say.....and according to Jimmy it
doesn't go well with pizza.

Is it time to swim????

That was what was most said today by all kids. First thing I want to ask is what time is it in NSW???? Because we keepbhaving problems, everything we have is on the wrong time for Northen Territory.

Today after getting up late - either 9:30 or 10...whats the time????- we then decided
It was 'tourist' day. So we drove all over Tennant Creek. We saw the first telegraph station. Which, instead of having a tour had a key, which let us anywhere we wanted to go - and lots of places we didn't. We also went to an Aboriginal Museum. My favourite part of the museum - wasn't like last time, the shop, but was actually - the dioramas of people living in Australia at different times. Mainly because it had small cute people.

The whole day, the thought of swimming helped us endure the heat, bit swimming wasn't actually that good. The pool was cold, shallow and there wasn't any sun. The best bits were beating Sol in cycling and watching a girl be pushed in. Even the spa was freezing.

Leaving, Arguments & Shopping

Today we are leaving the Isa - or we are meant to be...The parents have gone shopping for 3 weeks worth of stuff. We have been in the car -without them- for about an hour, and I am bored....

I only just became bored, though when I finished my book, it came out yesterday, and Sol tells me "You should give yourself time to read it..instead of just race through" Dad agrees with him, and says I should read it in French so that it takes longer..

Sol is reading his new book, and Fluffle is trying to roast flys with the cigarette lighter.

Still waiting....

Boys are having some discussion about Grant Hacket....and Puzzles

Fraser Island - post from last Monday

Yesterday all the boys -including Dad- and I went to Fraser island. We
decided to go on the boat trip half an hour before the boat left, and
rushed home to get some swimmers -or at least clothes which could get
wet- and boarded the boat.

We had really good food there, it was lunch time, and we didn't have
sandwiches!! Well, most of us didn't......

They had a really, really nice pool, better than any of the caravan
park ones..and the caravan park pools you had to shower before and
after your swim. Apparently this pool was salt water...perfect for
crocodiles..Before Dad let us swim, we had to go on the 'flora walk'
where someone who actually knew the subject led us around... Dad
thought she did much better than the Big Pineapple tour guide...

When we went home, we found that Mum had slept for 5 hours straight...

Dogs and Pools and Macca's

Yesterday, we realised that we would need to stay here -in the Isa- longer, to get the car checked. So before church we left the campervan park, and raced to the new one, where we are now. The worst things about the old caravan park was that there was no internet, dogs barked 24/7 and the pool was heated. This place is much better, there is fast internet, no dogs, and the coolest pool.

When church was over, the boys set up the campervan -nice boys- and Mum and I went to Maccdonalds....after checking if anything else was open, which it wasn't.

Thankyou boys. And they even waited for us before going into the pool.

Of course in return I had to play cricket with them. But it actuallly wasn't that bad, Kelly -a friends dog- was our solo feilder, and she was really good....unfourtunely she didn't bring the ball to the stumps...so noone got out..but it was fun...and beated fielding ourselfs.

When we went swimming we met a girl, who helped us defeat 2 boys older than us...we -me, her, and my 2 brothers- won....and it was fun.

Emerald tourism information center

Can't decide on a title...

Today has been really, really hot. We checked over the net, and in
Alice Springs the temperature was 37 degrees. Here it was only 1 down
from that, and it was definetly unbearable heat. The first time we
went out today, we turned the air con (can't spell conditioner
properly I don't think) off, and when we got back it was boiling, the
second time, we left it on, and when we got back it was still
boiling...The air con (ditioner ???) was definetly struggling.

The boys (including Dad) and I went swimming while Mum was getting her
photos developed, and it was great. So hot that the pool was perfect
temperature. Sol, Dad, some other parents, other kids & I played a
game of piggy in the middle......Parents always on the outside...and
it was great fun. Sol jumped on my head...which hurt and Dad told him,
that as punishment he should kiss me better...to which we both
declared was worse than the bruise I have...

Only thing left to say is that apart from the pool, the shopping
centre is the best place to be..

What temperature is it in Sydney????

QANTAS & Fancy Muesum

Today we celebrated finally reaching Long Reach, we weren't sure if we
were going to get here yesterday, what with the engine over heating,
and it was a 6 hour drive.

The first thing we did was go to QANTAS, and in the carpark, was the
biggest plane I had ever seen. According to Dad it was one of the only
remaining such and such planes...and when we went inside they told us
it had been really hard to land it on such a small runway, and that it
couldn't be taken off again. The suvineers were really, really good.

Then we went shopping so that there was something edible for lunch....

Then we went (for Dad) to see the Stockmen Hall of Fame. Which is
really just fancy talk for Australian Historic Museum. It was divided
into 5 segments (can you tell I've been told to give a 'non fiction
recount' here??) and if you went in the right order...it would all
make sense.

So we went to the shop, number 1.. the 4, then 3, 2, 5...library,
shop. Many of the exhibits had talking vidioes of what used to happen.
My favourite place was either the 3D exhibit of the swag talking
about his travels and who he met, or the picture of a woman and her
children. This is a photo of the women...

Coral

On the glass boat we heard about all types of coral and fish.

Stag Horn Coral, which is a 'soft coral' and in the shape of a stag horn. It is quite small and houses many fish. The next type of coral we learnt about was Brain Coral, which is a 'hard coral' and in the shape of a brain... The piece we were shown was about the size of a brain, but apparently they can grow up to about as big as a small boulder. They hide both small and large fish....And are easy to find. Plate Coral looked like an oval plate (you probably could've figured that out) and every year it grew 1 cm. Most of the pieces of this-that we saw-would be about 20 years old. My favorite coral was the Spider Coral, which had 8 legs, and the instructor sang to us...

"Spider Coral, Spider Coral, does whatever spider coral does, can it swing, on a web, no it can't, its a coral"

My least least favorite coral was the cone shells, they have a probiscus - which I can't spell- and they are poisonous...obviously something to avoid.

We also got to feed these fish which were 'visitors' and didn't belong, but they liked it there, because all these tourists feed them.

Going on the coral tour was really enjoyable, and my only regret was that from the boat you couldn't touch the water.

Now all I have to do is report...

And I have to do it, because Dad told the man the blog address...And told him to comment...

Wonder if he'l comment before my friends??? Plz, if your in 6NA and you read this, plz comment...

Hurry Up

This is my favourite car that I've seen so far...

Hurry Up!!! Bang, Run.....Sol? Bop? Here! Hannah!!!!! Sorry...Hrmph, Vroooom. This way...Honk!! GO LEFT!! Screech!! Bang!! Locked, Unlocked, Locked, Run! oops, forgot money...run, bang, drive, run bang, drive, run-bang-drive, runbangdrive.......LEFT, NOT RIGHT...unlock, Hurry Up!!!

This is kind of the car trips of getting to the jetty, realising we forgot money, and racing back..in not so many words...

Oh, and hope Radish, Joanna, Eva (??) had a good time at band camp...And Miss Arendts..

Fluffle & Radish

Fluffle found a lizards tail....and ate it....Now I know Radish loves these things...so this is tribute to them both...Also Radish I excpect a comment on this post...

Tropical Island...or.....Court???

Today we went to Great Keppel Island, which is apparnetly right at the bottom of the Great Barrier Reef. We went by boat, and although we were in a deal where we didn't get meals, managed to get food anyway. First, we spent an hour in the gift shop.

Then after eating what wasn't ours, we went on the 'glassie' where a member of the crew took us out on a boat with a glass bottom. Unfortunetly, we didn't get to stand on the glass.....we hand to stand around it...We got to see the coral, fish and old lookout stations....Which would of been better if I brought my glassess.....It would have also been better if Dad didn't say I had to do a report about whatever the guy was talking about...something about coral and fish and resorts -will do that next post...probably- and it was fun feeding them.

Then, after lunch, we went goggeling -no snorkels- and found fish and coral which we didn't have to write a report about....Dad took ages to convince in the water...almost as long as Fluffle...

Then we walked around, looking at all the resorts which had been closed down in the last year -and I have to do a report about.

Going home was the best, the water sprayed, afternoon tea tasted good, and the crew made jokes. When we were almost back, the Annandale police rang Dad...Not sure what happened...but it sounded like we were meant to be in court today..instead of at a tropical island..

Car Problems

We've been out of reach of blogger for a while...but I'm finally posting again...

This is something I wrote when the car died...

Our car is broken again...I'm not sure what's wrong -not going to ask-, Dad us ringing the Queensland NRMA (RACQ), this is bad...this time we aren't in a caravan park, we are on a road, at least we are at the right side....

Worried, what will we do if we're stuck our all night???Dad just got onto the people...Can't hear what is being said...Dads phone has almost run out of battery..
I'm not posting on the internet now, we're cut off. Can't really ask Dad to fix it....

Apparently someone is going to come and rescue us...

Dad is looking for a street to tell the lady on phone where we are. Everyone is tired, Fluffle is talking about nothing....

Mum is on the phone to the guy who's caravan park we are going to...She is really stressted, so I guess, is Dad, but he is hiding it better..

We got the car back, fixed. Really the fixit man had a bad back, so Dad actually fixed it for him. Dad went to get his foot checked up -did I tell you it had been hurting??- and apparently, its all his shoes fault.

Fire of the Giant Pinappale

We went to the Giant Pineapple, which apparently something you do. Drove from our friends house to the Pineapple. When we arrived, we went on The Nut ride - for total nuts. It was really slow, you didn't go upside down, and there was a lot of learning. Fluffle fantasized about the roof falling on you, so that you were in the dark, but nothing happened, and we just trudged along the road.

Then we went on a train ride, where Fluffle and Mum got off and fed the animals, Sol, Dad & I played on the iphone. I played the game for my first time, and beat Dads high score, which he spent half an hour getting. He then beat my score, but I come second & third.

Lastly we went to get Ice cream Sundays, because apparently, these are the best ones in the southern hemisphere. We ended up getting a Banana Split, which we all shared....I had about half a spoonful of ice cream, and some of the fruit salad...

Now we are driving, driving, always driving, not sure where we are going, but I heard Mum say to the camper van park - over the phone- that we would probably be there by 8pm, so only another few hours...

And we might have to give our car in to a garage again, get something fixed...

We keep passing fires, where people are burning everything, sugar canes, trees, grass, everything... It is hot inside, and worse outside, and apparently, they are burning things so that in summer there are less fires....weird...

Just beat Sol at chess, shouldn't be proud of this, but almost eveyone in my class can beat me, and I have to be able to beat someone..

This is a photo that I like...

Not that it applies for me....but I still like it...its artwwork, in the Brisbane Museum..

This post is 4 Radish

At Australia zoo...I found a spider on Sol's jumper, and I took it, and used it as a pet..

I have photoes of it...

And I wanted to send it to you as a birthday present....but I lost it, after Fluffle squashed it....

But it made me think of you...cause I know how much you'd like it.....

I'm looking for the photo...when I find it, I'll post it...

Packed up again...

...had to say goodbye to the giant jumping pillow...

Today we got up earlyish -again, this keeps happening!- and packed up the camper van, we did this quite quickly. Then we drove to church, and got there 30 seconds after the start of the first song...

It was really, really good that there was a group for my age -they had a pool table!- , because last church we were up at we had to stay in. Now I am at the ministers house...and they have internet...so I am blogging...

And they had really nice food.....and -according to my parents- coffee.....

Shots from Australia Zoo

Not quite sure what animal this is...

The Irwins and the Steeles :) We got on quite well...although we dominated the conversation...

Me fighting a crocodile! A vey nice crocodile though.

Australian Zoo

The answer to the last post was cricket....

Today we got up at 7:30 -which amazingly, is early for us...these days..- packed up the van..quite quickly for us, and drove to Australia Zoo. I always thought Australia Zoo was in Sydney, but apparently it is not...When we walked in, a camel welcomed us, apparently it was a non spitting camel, but if it had been of the spitting type, it would be spitting out its inards...

We then walked around, watched a show, which had elephants, lots of crocodiles, and birds...

We then walked through heaps, and heaps of cages...with birds, kangaroos, and lots of unidentified things. Fluffle loved it. We did a lot of walking, a lot of finding shade, a lot of wishing we had more water. It was fun...but suvineers was the best bit...

Partly cause I love to spend money, partly cause the shop was air conditioned...

We are staying at a Big4 caravan park...which has a water slide...and a giant jumping pillow..

Bye Bye tow truck

This is the camper van being put on the tow truck....

Unfortunately Dad edited out the first attempt of getting up...

Fixed, Contacted and Sol Sport

The car is fixed!!! Its drivable anyway...Sol and Dad drove it home. Poor Fluffle, when he went with Dad,to take the car to the garage,  he had to walk back....

Thanx for ringing/texting Totura & Fish...good to hear from you....

We had played cricket. I've found a sport I like less than soccer. It is something Solomon is very good at. It has heaps of rules which I didn't know before I broke them, and It has to many different ways of playing it. French, Backyard, Regular and International....We played It on a gravel road...and it hurt to run -your feet, not, whatever else would hurt (??)- which was unfortunate, because It had quite a bit of running....

Do you know what it is???

Will tell you later......probably

This is from Sols blog....

...It cracks me up...He is quite proud of it....

We also went to a penguin place where there was a penguin who was as ugly as a wugly bugly! Then we went to shark bay dun don daaaaaaan!!! Shark bay had sharks the size of cockroaches and there were sting rays the size of ants and there were schools of fish the size of schools of fish!!

Me as a Drowned Rat!!!!!

On second thoughts - although I felt drowned - I don't look that drowned.

Labels:

Drowned rat, specialists and fire alarms..

Today all of us went into Brisbane city...We went by bus because the car is still broken and had to be towed to a 'specialist' car fixer. We walked and walked and walked and walked, and went into churches, and looked at post offices and cathedrals and whatever else your meant to look at.

Then at lunch, we ate on a chess board, and my brothers and I played tips only moving like knights.

Then we took a ferry to this kind of fake beach. I was only planning to get the bottom of my legs wet, but I fell over, and got my shirt wet...Then I did some flips in the water, and I was completly soaked. We then had to go, and I was so wet!! On the ferry trip, everyone was staring..someone asked "did you like fall of the boat of something??" oh well....

The fire alarm just went off, and it is so loud...particuary because we are all boxed in.....

Today we lost the car and my little brother...

Today we lost Sol. We lost him very easily. It amazes me how we didn't manage to lose him at any of the worlds, but the first time we walked down the street, we lost him!! We had walked 100m to the chemist, then sent Sol back to give our purchase to Mum, and lost him. I wasn't expecting to lose him, and didn't have my phone...but Dad led us looking for him, telling everyone, and then when we got back to the caravan park, we realised we should stay where he thought we were, so he could -possibly- find us. After ringing the police, and a long walk, we found him. He had gone down the wrong street...and walked triple how far he otherwise would of gone.

In non logical order, this morning a tow truck came to take our car. It amazed me that yesterday it had no trouble pulling a camper van and us (not sure which is heavier...) it had trouble getting up the trailer ramp. Fluffle and Dad went with the trailer guy, and now we have no car.. Which is why we were walking.

Arrival in Brisbane

Yesterday night we arrived at Brisbane. We drove 2 hours....and then arrived at our next caravan park. Dad backed the van into place, then went to back it next to it. Unfortunetly we couldn't get
the car 1m forward so that it would be next to the van. Dad rang a few people -the owners of the car, the Queensland NRMA- and this morning a tow truck came to pick up the car. It took us a while to get the jeep up to the ramp....and Fluffle and Dad went with the truck, to look after the car.

So we are stranded where we are.

Latest Movie dad made...

I really enjoyed Wet & Wild, here is a movie

Sea World!!!

Today we went to Sea World, we woke up at 6am -thanx boys..- and left at about 10. When we got to the carpark, we remembered the vidio camera. We ransacked the car, and then, when we couldn't find the camera, we set up the camper van, in the carpark!! Luckily we found the camera.

We walked into Sea World, got briefly lost, then worked out how to get to the "Water World" part. Dad & Mum decided not to get wet, but Sol, Fluffle and I got chagned. Mum convinced Fluffle to go on the slide, then I took Fluffle to the small pool -300mm deep!. Later Sol and I ran all the way up the slide (8 storeys) , where they told us that we needed 3 people to go on that ride. We ran down, convinced Mum and Fluffle to come with us, and we went down -after running up again. It was steep, and I went backwards...but it was fun.

Then we went to the penguin sanctary, and then the touch pools, and then shark bay. I was amazed, when we looked at Shark Bay from the top, we could only see water, when we went underneath, we could see coral, schools of fish, sharks, everything the sign said we would see. The Polar bear sanctuary was a dissapointment...we went right under and around it, and there were no polar bears!!! They were either very, very good hiders, or had escaped.

We then went on 2 boat rides -Mum had gone to relax- the first one was a "viking" ride, where bascically you went up the hill, came down, and got wet. The second ride was a spook boat. You sailed down a hill, into a volcano, where the light dies, and we turned around backwards. The Scariwst bit was the fall, I scrames the whole way. We also went on a "Pirate" ship, where you sat in a "ship" which was suspended in midair, then the ship swung up and down into the air, and my stomach seemed to run away.

The last ride I went on was a rollecoaster. It was shaped like a rocket, and went straight up and down, then turned upside down about 4 times, one of them a double loop the loop. I sat next to Dad and screamed the whole way, but Sol reckoned he let go, and didn't scream at all, he also thought he couldn't hear me scream.

At the end, we had to rush away, because we realised we had to pick up the fridge and some poor guy would be waiting for us -the actual place was closed- so we didn't get any souvineers. But we still had a great time.

Leaving...

Tommorow we're leaving the park. We're going pack up, go to Sea World, then we will drive to another place.

It is sad that we're leaving.

I only just worked out the way to the bathroom!

Wet 'n' Wild

Wet & Wild was the best!!! We went there yesterday -straight after church- and it was the best.

When we got there, all of us went on the first ride, which was a race down the 'tube'. Sol won, I came 2nd, Mum and Dad tied 3rd, and Fluffle ran down and beat us all -he was to scared to actually race. Then we split up, and Mum took Fluffle to Bucineer Bay, and Dad took Sol & I on the other rides.

After lunch we got back together with Mum and Fluffle, and we went on some family rides. The first one was a 8 storey high slide, where everyone went together. Fluffle sat between the parents and screamed the whole way. We went up the wall heaps of times. The next ride we went on was a 3 person one. Mum, Dad and Fluffle went together and Sol and I did. Fluffle didn't have a very good time.

Sol the went on an almost vertical downhill slope, but I was to scared to go. Dad went as well, and got told off by a life gaurd because "he did it wrong".

My favourite ride was one where you went in a four person boat, down a slide, which broke of into a giant coloured cone, and you swung up and down the walls.

Hannah - AHHHHHHHH!!!!
Mum - Don't scream!!!
Hannah - But!
Mum - Ahhhhhhh!!!!

My least favourite ride was one where one person swung down a slide, and water splashed in my face.

The Pool, Smelly Park and the AFL..

Or was that NRL??

Today I finally went to the park, something Fluffle's been nagging me to do for ages...I was determined not to enjoy it, but it was actually a pretty cool place. It was all coloured wood, constructed in a climbing frame, the only thing wrong with it was the smell. You see, right next to it, was the conpost, and on the conpost, was a lot of cow manure, which stunk. So I didn't have to pretend not to like the park....

I did like the pool....It was really hot today (did anyone else notice??) and the pool was big and cool and there was a slide. We (Bro's & I) tried to play traffic jam. It didn't work. Abraham refused to get wet, and since the slide led straight into the water, he slid down with utmost care and caution. Sol and I wern't quite strong enough to fully push each other off.

Dad is teasing little brothers. He is asking them who is playing in the AFL tonight, he is telling them it is probably "The Cassowarys and the Ducks". Does anyone follow football?? I don't although I either go for 'the purple team, the loser (if thats not the swans) or the winner (if thats not the swans). Basically I don't support the Swans, because the rest of the family does.

I read what I wrote

and it didn't say what happened. So, on the way we got lost trying to find the park. My favourite ride was the Wild West Waters. Although I was really scared of the fall while we were lineing up. I really enjoyed floating down/up the river and then rushing down the waterfall. While I was going down anything I would always lean forward. Even when I was falling vertically down. We couldn bye photos of ourselves going down the rides, and I looked like a torso leaning forward, a smile and glassess. All I really remember is that the camera blinded me.... And that then I wasn't ready for the backwards...

I had a really good time! And it was definetly worth $500.

Movie world- The rides

Today we went to movie world. There were thrill rides, plays, flight simulators, and roller coasters.

The Rides
The Scooby Doo Spooky coaster was a thrill ride, we're you couldn't see a lot of the time, there were a lot of sharp turns and you went down backwards. Fluffle didn't like this ride, pronouncing it as 'too scary'.
The Wild West Waters was a boat ride in which you went up a mountain and then fell down. Only Dad, Sol & I went on this one, I was scared but it was fun.
The Batwing was an 8 storey high pole, which on each side seats 4 people. You were strapped in and flew up and down. I only went on this because Sol and Dad did.
Looney Tunes was a whole park filled with smaller rides. The only ones I went on were the small rollercoaster-which Fluffle said was scary & the water tour which took you seemingly to a cave where you looked for Donald Duck &got wet
There were 2 other rides which Sol went on- called Super Man Escape & Leathel Weapon-and asked me to as well, but I was to scared. I had made a deal with Sol that I would ride every ride he did, when he said he wouldn't ride the last 2.When he did he said I had lost the deal, I said I hadn't. What do you think

Going to movie world...

We are going to movie world!!! We have to pay $500 just to get in. So it better be good!!! It is very, very good that the rain has stopped!! Because all the worlds are outside area's. Does anyone actually know what happens in movie word?? I guess I'll find out either way....

We have bought a washing line which we can hang up in the camper van...And Mum ans Dad are trying to set it up....

Abraham has heard a bird cry (or what he thinks is a bird cry) that is the tune to "Hear Comes the Bride" has anyone heard of such a bird???

Apparently it is Aunty Irmgard's Birthday, so Happy Birthday!!!

Dad has been reading us a book called Down Under, which I like, but I don't like it when I have to read it by myself....

And we're going soon, and I need to help..... And I don't want the computer to run out of battery!

Raining, Pouring

I am starting to hate rain, at home it is ok, because there is heaps of room, and if my sneakers get wet I can take them off -even at school- but here I can't. I have to squish in the van with my family, and a table, and all the bags, and beds and everything, and it is really squished. Also, when we are out and about, I can't take my shoes off, even though I am soaking...

My umbrella, you see, is broken....

Luckily Mum bought a new one, so tomorrow I probably won't have wet shoes...

Unless a puddle looks to good to miss.....

Shopping 4 whatever catches out fancy

I don't know if it is raining in Sydney, but it is definetly raining here...We were planning to go to a world, but because of the rain, we went to the shops instead....We didn't realise until we got out of the car that the shops were all outside.....

We've been out almost all day, and we went to a book trading place (so I have something I can read), a phone shop (dad spent forever getting an iphone) and lots of shops for mum. We are going to Brisbane tommorow, mum just said....then we are coming back here so we can go to the Worlds....

Dad got a fridge for free...and I am wondering, what are we going to do with it?? Space is a big issue in the camper van.

A few weeks ago, Dad broke/lost one of the legs to the camper van, which has been causing the kids much grief, because we can't bounce, jump, put the suitcases down heavily, or anything else that might overbalence the van. Now we are getting the leg, while this is good, because it means we won't have to worry about overbalancing the van, it is also bad, because then I will have to share a bed with my brothers. Something which I didn't have to do because Me and Fluffle or Me and Sol might overbalance the van. Will let you know how it goes.

We are heading home*, and I gotta go.

*Do I call the caravan in the park home???

Trying to do the longest title ever....

Is it working??? Dad set a word minumum of 800 words a day...and I fall about 400 short for yesterday and about the same for today.

About 2 hours ago we were swimming, and Dad was trying to get Fluffle to the Spider of Doom (the shallow end) he succeeded....Fluffle banged his head, so that was the end of our swimming.

We are in Queensland!!! Got here about an hour ago, and already the trailer is set up, and Dad and Sol have made todays movie...

Nothing really to do around here.....Although there is a pool....

There are heaps, and heaps of people here, like you can't go anywhere without seeing/talking to/banging into someone.....Mum just left, but before she did Fluffle jammed his finger, in a grusome way....

Only have about 100 words until I've done half of yesterdays post...

What else can I say?? We listened to alot of Mark Driscle (last names make the post longer). We only drove for an hour, and I have a headache.

Jam Weasel

It's Abrahams word, if you don't like it then to bad....Says Abraham....

We arrieved at Ballina last night at about 8:30...And Dad (GOOOO DAD) had driven for 9 hours straight!!!!! This place is called "a 4 star park" and it is the coolest!! It has a pool, and a gym, a miny put put course, a inflatabe pillow and a playground...

Fluffle has sprained his ankle (at least we hope its only a sprain) and we will soon go swimming!!!

Its a really cool place, and its almost worth the long drive yesterday....almost, but not quite....

Life in the Jeep

nWe just listened to Mark Driscles talk, and when I had just started checking my email -dad wouldn't let me do it while the talk was on - he reminded me I hadn't written the 800 words.....In fact even Abraham has written more than me. The boys are talking over some imaginary worm, which might be one of their fingers, which likes their nose hairs.....Where did I get them from??

We just passed some red dirt...

And Sol has asked the question, "Why are their so many bikey gangs???"

Last night -I only just remembered this- in the middle of the night, my brother had a nose bleed....He fell over Fluffle & me, and woke up Mum & Dad, at 4am...... He woke us up with an "Ahhh, my nose is bleeding!", and so now I am very tired, and he is not....

Mum just said she wanted to buy horse maure, and when asked what she wanted to do with it, she said "put it on the garden, of course"

Gotta go, we've found a rest spot and everyone's hungry.

And its my chance to get out of the jeep.

The jeep is bouncing which is making really hard to...

....type, and think...

In the last 2 days I have helped set up the camper van 4 times!! Some people might think that thats to much, others that we must be good at it by now - with all that practice.......But this is not true....We keep forgetting to put the door in, or take out the clips..

Yesterday we packed, and tidied, and put up the camper van so that we could pack and tidy it....

I thought we wouldn't leave until today, but we suprisd me and we left at about 4:30pm, and by 5pm, both my parents had voted......

We arrived at Cessnock -and I know your wondering where that is, so am I - and we set up, there was a code which we had to remember to get access to anything (8246#)...

On the way there, we stopped at Grandparents and gave them the last of our washing - isn't it great to have Grandparents like that - and listened tp a talk. I think it was by some one who is meant to be the best preacher in America.

I am meant to be doing 800 words....

We are on the way to where ever we are going next. I am not sure where that is....

Not much more to say.....

Very, Very short!!!!

First day of spring, first day of (our) holidays, so what did we do first thing???

We cut Dads hair!!!!!! Its so short!!!! Shorter then Solomons, shorter then Abrahams.......

The sad thing is that by the time we get back, his hair will've grown back..........

You'll have to take my word for it.....

Or maybe I'll take a photo.....
