School

At school we are doing street art!! It is actually fun....and we are going to decorate the school.....apparently it will all fall....but it looks like fun....

And one of them will be the school year 6 t shirt....

And we spent a long time watching Phantom of the Opera stuff....

Next  time we might get to watch the actual thing!

Sol got picked up by Grandparents -to go to the footy- at 6, and now it is 7:30, and it still hasn't started (Fluffle is watching it...) and I am wondering, what do he and Fluffle see in it....Although it is fun to listen to the commentary about how it is a win/lose situation tonight......

I am Happy!! Although I havn't done clarinet yet!!! Oops...

We are having Uncle Ray and Aunt Sandra over today....and shock,  surprise...... the house is tidy!!!!

And it only took us an hour!!!!

Coldness of Homework.....

Today was so cold!! I am so glad I wore long pantz!!!

We had Mrs Grove today...We did art from 9:15 till 12....Although it was my best picture ever....

I am re-reading The Wall and the Wing (meant to do a book report), and am meant to be doing some HSIE homework.....but I don't feel like it....Hope I don't do this at high school.

Of all the stupid things to fight about....

Earlier this evening, I was having a fight with Solomon about how big Radishes foot is, I am amazed at how angry I was, how I asked him, "when have you ever looked at Radishes foot?" while thinking....When have I ever looked at Radishes foot??  LOL

Its the 1st Day of School!!!

The uniforms are being dug out, sandwiches made, shoes found, hair tamed, pens extracted, bus passes found, frantic people looking for lost socks ........And I'm not ready!!!!!! 

So what am I doing?? I'm blogging. duh.

Last night I threw a cat at Radish

Luckily it was a soft cat....

Just got back from Radishes house, and I am seriously tired.....

Also, School it starts tomorrow!!! Which makes me unhappy......and kind of happy, because I miss my friends, but I really don't feel like getting up on time.......

We watched Harry Potter 5, it was very scary and Sirius died!!! So sad!!!

We are watching the beginning of Harry Potter 4. Quite scary.....I had forgotten how scary it was, book is much better....

The Prisoner of Azkaban

We just watched Harry Potter 3.....It was Fluffles first time watching it, and he ( I think) enjoyed it......Which is your favourite movie so far?? What book?? Which character?? Why???

My favourite Harry Potter book is Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (which Fluffle has just told me is "number 7") my favourite movie is number 3, and my favourite character is either Ginny or maybe Luna (?) but Hermione is most like me....

Born Again - a halfway through review

Born Again - By Charles Colson

So far, I have learnt from Born Again about how politics was the most important thing in the world for Charles Colson, he was a 24 hours a day, 7 days a week type of person at the beginning of the book. He also was quite shallow, and instead of realising there was something wrong with his life. I have learnt that god is amazing, and can convert anyone to Christ; also that Richard Nixon is not the best roll model.

Richard Nixon seems to be very demanding, and with his support, it seems Charles Colson would do anything to secure the election. Yet on the eve of the election, Charles Colson finds himself unexcited, lacking of emotions. 

Richard Nixon who could show no charity during his greatest triumph, he was without grace in victory. He had a very hard time thinking of something nice to say to his vanquished opponent; Senator George McGovern even hour after George McGovern had conceded defeat. Also, Richard Nixon seems to have no compassion for anyone, and only wants to see what he wants done. An example of this is when, the day after he won the election, early in the morning, he tells Colson and all his other workers, that they, and the people under him, must resign, and get new jobs.... although Colsen tried to soften the blow, promising his staff that he would help them find new jobs, and giving them a vacation, they still are annoyed, upset, and feel used. 

Tom Phillips, who is the man who converts Colson, is a notable Christian, who, seems to be an excellent roll model, much better than Richard Nixon. 

So far, in Born Again, Richard Nixon has been re elected as president, and the republicans have been accused of stealing from the Democrats, the Republicans denied this ever happened, which has been found out a lie, Charles Colson has become a Christian, through Tom Phillips. 

At this point, I am amazed at how many Christians there were, that were willing to lend a hand to Colson. 

I also admire the way he (Colson) deals with all the negative publicity, he does seem to be more stressed, but he doesn't seem to be cracking up.

As I am only half way through the book (147/384) I am not sure how it ends, however, at this point, Colson has just became a Christian, and wherever he goes, he is realising how many Christians are around in what he calls an "Underground Network"

So far, I like the book Born Again, because (apart from the people on the front cover...) it is a true storey about how God works in people's hearts, to bring good. I also like the way it is spoken truthfully, and not a storey with everything pretty and perfect. I don't like, however, like how it is non-fiction, it is a very good book, which is hard to say about lots of fiction books. I think more people should read it, except that I myself don't want to read the rest of it....

Do you tell yourself what you should feel like???

I do! We have tidied up the entire house..... Now it seems all lonely, because there is nothing to step on, randomly find, look at etc. Why do I feel like that?? I should feel happy because everything is completely tidy, but I don't.......I just feel kind of.....like the house is desolate...... and like I need to make a mess...

Sol is doing maths....13 days until his test.....I think.......

We are al tired but we can't go to bed......

We got back last night, and after some help (thank u so much!!!) we got the camper trailer into the carport, we then set it almost the full way up, before dragging everything out into the kitchen.....Today, we are going to tidy the kitchen, watch Harry Potter 3 for Fluffle, Who had only just finished it.....

Also, I have to do a summary about Born Again.....Does anyone know anyone about it??? Because I need help....

No Elmo any more!!!!!

Fluffle is singing "La La La La, La La La La, Elmo's world" which is very, very annoying.......
I am wondering, where dad is, how life is going for everybody else, and weather I should do some work, also, how long do I have to listen to Fluffle sing Elmo's world??

Did I mention it was cold?

Last night we slept in the Newmans backyard....It was very cold and..........comfortable?? Of course we were in out camper trailer......but it was still cold...After struggling to sleep in the cold, the rooster went of at 4 am!! Thanx very much rooster!!! Thanx to the rooster, I did not think about sleeping until dad got up and began preparing for whatever he is going to do today....

The Newman girls were really nice, Anna was in yr 8, Sarah yr 6 and Sophie yr 3.....I think...

Thank you for playing continuous games of Snorta and Rummy.....I had a great time, Daisy, Cocunut, Isi are o so cute (bet you can't guess what animal they are...., not cheating my family..)

All in all, it was a great time, and I wish we saw the Newmans more often.......

Driving to Richmond (outof Sydney)

Mum has gone back to work.....We are driving to midyear conference, and we are trying to find accomadation.....

And I am thinking "Thanx so much for laptops!!!" because without this laptop, I would be sitting here doing nothing.....

I am reading Born Again, and I am finding it very confusing, and annoying, and dad says it is good to read non fiction.....But seriously....do you think that you'd would rather read Harry Potter (like Abraham) or Born Again??

I beat Dad at chess this morning!!!!!

Mum has joined us in the caravan....We have broken the microwave (oops!!) and the keyboard (oops!!!). I appear to have mislaid Harry Potter.....Abraham just found it....he mislaid it (tee hee).

I am realising how much clarinet practice I have missed....hope my tutor dosn't read my blog......

I am quite tired, but happy, for no particular reason...

We played (family) silent ball...and withough my glassess, 5/8 times I was the winner (other 3 times Sol won.......But I am happy, because in the last 5 hours I have won more silent ball games than in the last year and a 1/2......

Mum and Dad are now playing chess......

We are at Coonabarabra, and it is really, really cold!!!! I can't believe we lasted the entire night!!!

Also all the caravans next to us, they were gone by the time we could be bothered getting up!! They are very fast!!!!

Today we are leaving Tamworth, we are going to Gunnedah, which apparently has worse water than Tamworth!! Which makes it pretty bad!!!

Also, Fluffle has finished his first handwriting book, and now he is learning to join letters..... A scary process, because that is how you write for your whole life...............Fluffle has also finished Harry Potter 3!!! And is now starting Harry Potter 4!!

Girl Heroines

Today I am posting at Maccdonalds..............

It is the only day of the year in which Mum and Dad are the same age.

I am sitting here, thinking about girl heroines........

I have thought of Hermione (Harry Potter), Ginny (Harry Potter), Meggie (Inkheart), Arya (Eragon), Nasuda (Eldest), Mona (Super Nautralists), Holly (Artemis Fowl) and Minerva (Artemis Fowl). Who else would you include???

Dad was right after all!!

Yesterday we wathched West Side Story, it was very good.Dad chose West Side Story for us, with many complaints...But he still thought we should watch the best movie of 1961 instead of Garfield, Ice Age 2, or Monster house. Don't tell him he was right...it is hard enough to argue with him as it is.

One of the best bits was the "America" bit, where, after Maria kissed Tony, the Posta Ricans have this argument, girls against boys!!!





I thought thought both sides arguments were good, but as usual, girls came out shining!!! Go girlz!!!!

Conversation in the Camper Van (Tralier)

Today mum came and joined us in the camper van. All good, except, guess who has to share their bed with an annoying little brother who keeps reminding me that "we are not in a camper van, we are in a camper trailer". Very annoying.

We were really close to being stranded in the middle of nowhere without any petrol, but luckily (did Dad plan it that way??) we were instead stranded at a server station, and that wasn' stranded at all.

Ok, now brothers are going:

A: Die!!
S: I am!!
A: Well die fast!!!!
S: To bad for you, I'm going to die as slowly as possible!!!!
A: Get off my bed!!!
S: But I'm dieing!!!!
S: I'm dead!!!

Now, I have Permission to be blogging..........

Ok, I just found out that the park we stayed at last night was the Toowoon Bay, and as Fluffle said
"I have nothing to talk about except whats in my slimy, slimy brain."

This Morning we had a after-first-session-before-second-session-walk. We walked along the beach, but soon got tired of that because, guess who had new sneakers on?? Then, we spotted some kids trying to build a dam..... We went over to them, and followed the watersupply of their failed dam to find our own mini waterfall!!!

It was about 50cm wide, and was about 3 dads long (that might mean something different to you compared to me) and going down hill. The water rustled, down the hill, and Nomolos leading the way, we climed (around, not) up it, and ended back where we started. Had a great time.

In The Camper Van - Working

We are at a new campsite...different from the last one.......

Fluffle is doing handwriting, Nomolos is doing maths, I am doing spelling, and at the same time, blogging, don't tell anyone......

While, I am listening to the sounds of the highway roar by, I am wondering, what is happening in other spots of the world?? Anyone care to tell me what they are doing??

Brand New

Ok, I am actually posting this on a brand new computer. No we didn't go on a spending spree, we are in the apple mac shop thing, fiddling with computers. 

When we get out of this shop we will be going to our campervan!! Yes!!! Last night my family*   slept in the brand new camper van for the first time!!!!!

Sleeping in the brand new camper van rocked!! Brand new phones rox!!!

*Not all of m family, Mum is at home still.

How 2 go on holidays.....

We are going on holiday today, well, most of us are already on holiday, but dad isn't. So after church (and dads meetings), we are going to whisk him away in a flash of blinding colour!! Then we are going to pack, and then back out the camper trailer (harder then it looks) and leave....... Do you like the plan so far???

We are watching the footy, and guess what? The Swans are losing! Sol is doing the sound effects. "Arrgh" "No!!"and "Yes!!!! Yes!!! Ye-essss!!"

Schools Out 4 Winter!!!

Albeit a short 2 week one. 

Today sport was canceled, What is it with canceling sport???, Anyway, once again, lots of annoyed people walking around the halls. 

At 3 this afternoon I was ready for holidays, but I now, after 6 hours of holidays, want to go back to school!! Not really, but I miss my friends, already....!!!! O well, am glad to be able to stay up late. 

Some people can't even reach it....

.....But I can bang my head on it!!!

Today, I banged my head on the roof of the classroom! Oops!! Piggy, Tiva and I were walking down the steps, they pushed me, at the same moment which I jumped, and my head banged the roof. I didn't tell anyone at first, but to many people commented on my watering eyes for me to pretend. So I told them, and they told me to go to sick bay, which I did, and guess what? I had to stay in the sick bay the rest of the day, o so boring.

Also yesterday, I won silent ball, this is the second time I have done this, and the first time it was a really big thing (I was the 2nd girl ever to do this, Tiva was the first. Go Tiva!!!!!!). It was a big thing this time as well, but I am so sorry Ben!!! I banged his face with the tennis ball, and that was the last throw.

 I just realised how much I was going to miss silent ball, and Tiva, and Moo, and Piggy, and Radish, and Viv, Stina, Jayne, AngiePantz, Joanna, Miss Arendts even some of the boys!!!

Anyway, Dad just said that "this was the first real day of our holiday!" !!!!!!!!!!!!!

O So Much 2 Say

Today, my band performed. We had a great time, and although we had to change our program at the last minute (base clarinets....where are you???) We did really well, and we won!! We were given a gold trophy (for the school) and were also given ribbons, which will be given to us later.

Also today my family (Dad, Mum, Sol and Fluffle, not me, I was performing....)went and bought our camper van!!!!!!!! O, O yeah!!!!!! When I got home, I saw (and helped) dad push (and back) it in. 

Thanx 2 our neighbours, also to Sol, and Mum, and Fluffle, but most of all thanx Dad!!!!!!!

Almost everybody is in bed, Nomolos is up playing with his footy cards, and I am blogging......everybody else is asleep.....or at least pretending to be.............
