Both familiar and new faces crowded the Village Church backyard for Christians in the Media’s start-of-year barbecue in the second week of February.
As students and workers from across Sydney ate and chatted, they shared ups and downs of living for Christ in the industry.
Also sitting to reflect on what shape the year might take, a number of members shared their thoughts.
Among the suggestions was to organise a range of both formal and informal events to encourage workers and students. And other events could be run for colleagues who aren’t followers of Jesus.
Various members concluded the time by praying for one another, the network and the media industry.
